Leave PushAlarm open in the app switcher: swiping it away stops the alarm (iOS only lets the app send a backup notification then). Turn the media volume up, because iOS does not let apps change it. Then try "Test the alarm (10 s)" with your phone locked.
Prop the phone on the floor, side-on to you, a couple of metres away, so it can see at least one whole arm (shoulder, elbow and wrist). Good light helps. Use "Test camera" first: lines appear on your arm when PushAlarm can see it.
Your elbow bends and then straightens again. Shallow push-ups count too. In "Push-ups for time" mode, the clock runs while the camera sees your arm.
Press and hold the bar at the bottom of the alarm screen for 5 seconds. The alarm stops, but that morning does not count toward your streak.
